8-day Rhine Cruise to Rüdesheim and Mainz

The Rhine and the Moselle are two of Europe's most beautiful rivers.

The Rhine Valley is famous for its beautiful landscapes with many vineyards, imposing castles and picturesque towns as well as the famous Lorelei rock. Beautiful promenades and open areas can be found in Königswinter, Koblenz, Boppard, Rüdesheim and Mainz.

 

Day 1: Arnhem-Wesel
Your cruise will start at 15.00 hours with check-in in Arnhem. Today we will sail the Rhine to the German town of Wesel. This evening you are invited to enjoy a delicious dinner on board and meet your fellow passengers.

Day 2: Wesel, Dusseldorf
During breakfast we leave Wesel and sail upstream to Düsseldorf. In the afternoon you can enjoy a stroll on the riverside promenade and in the Old Town or visit the chic Königsallee for local goods. An optional city tour is available here if you wish.

Day 3: Düsseldorf-Königswinter
From Düsseldorf we pass Cologne with its impressive cathedral and the town of Bonn to Königswinter, located at the foot of the famous Drachenfels. From the mountain top you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Rhine.

Day 4: Koblenz
Enjoy a relaxing and beautiful day as you cruise from Königswinter, along the beautiful Siebengebirge to Koblenz, the city with the famous Deutsches Eck, where the Rhine and Mosel rivers meet. Koblenz offers excellent cafes and cozy terraces. Before you reach Koblenz, you will enjoy a stop in Andernach. An optional tour of the romantic Ahr Valley is available here if you wish.

Day 5: Koblenz, Rüdesheim
This is a day to remember. We cruise past the famous Lorelei Rock today. In the afternoon you arrive in Rüdesheim, where you have time to enjoy sightseeing or shopping and visit the famous Drossellgasse.

Day 6: Rüdesheim, Mainz
The Cruise upstream continues passing impressive vineyards as we continue on to Mainz. You will enjoy a leisurely afternoon visiting the city.

Day 7: Mainz, Linz
Another memorable day - cruising to Linz. En Route we will stop in St. Goar, where you can disembark for a short visit .We then cruise one of the most beautiful parts of the Rhine to berth in Linz. Here you can walk to the historic town with its many half-timbered houses, shops and cozy stubes.

Day 8: Linz, Bonn and by coach back to Arnhem
On the last day we sail early in the morning from Linz to Bonn. After breakfast you disembark and return by luxury coach and to Arnhem, where you'll arrive around noon.
