International Air Possibilities

We are well aware of the choices for air travel between Canada and Bamako and we are available to assist you in determining your best option. If you don't have frequent flyer points to cash in on a free ticket, we suggest one of the options shown below. These have been created for residents of Ottawa or Montreal, however, there may be alternate routings depending on your city of residence and your personal preference. Prices from Western Canada can often be more expensive because of the increased distance. We would be pleased to provide a quote.

Air France (recommended)
This option involves using Air France from Ottawa through Montreal to Paris and on to Bamako. (The segment from Ottawa to Montreal is by Air France bus to/from the Ottawa Train Station.)

AF7112 Ottawa-Montreal 415P  635P (bus)
AF 349 Montreal-Paris 1055P 1140A+
AF 796 Paris-Bamako 440P  820P
AF 791 Bamako-Paris 1150P  620A+
AF 344 Paris-Montreal 115P  400P
AF7113 Montreal-Ottawa 530P  730P (bus)

The cost of this option is currently around C$1677 plus taxes of about C$377.
These fares can change at any time - please call us for details.

Royal Air Maroc (not recommended)
This may be an option for those clients who can travel directly from Montreal, since there are no connector fares from Ottawa on this option. This route involves using Royal Air Maroc from Montreal to Casablanca and then on to Bamako. We don't recommend this routing due to the scheduling of the long connections in Casablanca in both directions and the "midnight to dawn" arrival and departure times in Bamako.

AT 207 Montreal-Casablanca 805P  705A+
AT 523 Casablanca-Bamako 1100P  235A+
AT 522 Bamako-Casablanca 335A  700A
AT 206 Cassablanca-Montreal 250P  645P

The cost of this option is currently about C$1530 plus taxes of about C$400.

Air Canada and Kenya Airways
This option involves the use of Air Canada from Ottawa to London Heathrow and Kenya Airways from London to Nairobi and on to Bamako. We don't recommend this option due to the increased distance and flying time, however if you wish to explore this option, we can provide a fare quote. Call us.
